A Malaysian Celebrity is a widely-recognized who commands a high degree of public and media attention in Malaysia. Generally speaking, a Malaysia celebrity (also known as Artis Malaysia) love seeks media attention such as in local news paper, magazine, celebrity gossip blog and online forum about their social life, gossip and scandals.
Four type of celebrity in Malaysia:
Outstanding Celebrity
Famous and notable Malaysian celebrity who’s wisely balances their social lifestyle and career.

Reluctant Celebrity
Malaysia Celebrities who keep a very separate private (mostly they did`t talk much about their family)

Media Tart
Those that seek out publicity for themselves are often called a media tart whereas those that use their private life as a vehicle for enhanced celebrity status.

Media Whore
Examples of this (Media Whore) are fake relationships, celebrity nudity and scandal or celebrity sex tape.

Pesta Seks Liar Artis Malaysia (Farahrizan Abdul Razak, Astro Awani busted!)
This is probably a biggest knock out to Farahrizan Abdul Razak, Astro Awani news presenter. Farahrizan also tested positive for drugs. Police also found condoms, drugs and alcohol in the room (Pesta Seks Malam Tahun Baru 2009). This issue (pesta seks artis) is probably be review in Melodi, TV3 this weekend!
Newscaster and actress among 26 busted at sex party
KUALA LUMPUR: A noted female newscaster and an actress were among 26 people caught in a sex party at a hotel in Jalan P. Ramlee here early yesterday morning. The women also tested positive for drugs, sources said.
As of 10pm yesterday, they were still being detained at the police headquarters along with the others. Their ages range from 18 to 31. Apparently, the 22-year-old newscaster is engaged and is due to be married next week. She has been reading news for a private television station for about a year. The 25-year-old actress has apparently played a role in a movie made by a famous director.
TV presenter tests positive
Police have confirmed that the newscaster who was nabbed along with 27 other people in a raid on a hotel room on New Year’s Eve is Farahrizan Abdul Razak.
Sources told Malay Mail that the 22-year-old newsreader with Astro Awani had tested positive for drugs. She has been remanded for two days, along with eight others who had also tested positive. Also picked up during the raid were the organisers of the party.
Officers led by Assistant Superintendent Mahani Ahmad found condoms, drugs and alcohol in the room, which was packed with revellers who had received special invites to the party through social networking site Friendster.
